Antique Museum in Dubai, run by the Fakih Group, is a must if you are looking for souvenirs, Moroccan or Arabic lamps and decorative handicrafts for your home!
Really, anything you could ever think of, souvenirs from Dubai, Africa, Indonesia, Egypt, Morocco, Turkey, Nepal, and a variety of other countries are all available here!
Arabic lamps, candleholders, tea sets, coffee pots, pashmina shawls, table cloths and bed linen, antiques and small furniture, t-shirts and caps, fridge magnets and shishas, just anything you might want to buy during your stay in Dubai is waiting for you under one large roof.
Spread across 4 warehouses, jam-packed and with only narrow passages through millions of items, make sure you bring enough time!
I never did, and believe me, one or two hours are just about enough to get a quick glimpse on the vast variety. But if you live in Dubai you can also just keep coming back like I do (when I take all our visiting friends there!).
They changed to fixed price system some years, making your shopping experience hassle free. You don’t have to leave the place wondering if you paid too much or if you bargained tough enough.
They will just give you the right price from the beginning, and definitely cheaper than in any other tourist place!
Some time ago I showed a radio moderator from Dubai Eye Radio around – we bought handcrafted wooden candle holders for 11 AED each!
Apart from that, the Fakih Group is also actively involved in charity. By shopping here, you are guaranteed to do a good cause. Have a look at their website to find out more:

How to find the Antique Museum in Dubai
The shop is located close to the 3rd Interchange on Sheikh Zayed Road (Manara Street). Coming from direction Bur Dubai, go into the service road and go on the next bridge (after the actual interchange), which will take you to the Al Quoz side passing past Time Square Mall and the Gargash Mercedes Benz Showroom.
At the next traffic light, take a left turn. Then turn right into the second street, and again right when you see a big tree and a small restaurant on the right side.
You will see the warehouse with a long silver wall on your right hand side and big signboards.
Coming from Abu Dhabi, just take the exit/ service road to Time Square Mall (the next one after Mall of the Emirates which goes in at the Dubai Garden Center) and from there turn tight just before the bridge (at the Mercedes Benz/ Gargash Showroom).
Then turn left at the traffic light. After that, turn right into the second street, and again right when you see a big tree and a small restaurant on the right side.
